Since the community that I'm writing on has to do with trying, I decided to look at Brendan Johnson's six site. On the top of the page, Brendan has each part categorized into Project 1, Project 2, Project 3, and blog/mini presentation. The set-up on my account is very similar to Brendan's set-up except I don't have the blog/mini presentation tab at the moment. When clicking on each tab, Brendan only has Word links. I think that his Wix page could've been much better if he included more designs and descriptions. Looking at Brendan's "Pitch" was very helpful for me as it gave me an example of what to do. Brendan's link to the Instagram account created for Project 3 was also something that I'm going to use as a guideline. Since I'm creating an Instagram for one of my genre's, it's important to make it look professional, with a proper profile picture, bio and posts. Overall, Brendan's account was great to look at as I begin to compile pieces from each project into a final portfolio. I think that viewing many other portfolio's and identifying the pro's and con's of each page will help me create the best final portfolio possible for myself.
